Should I sell my MacBook pro for iMac and MacBook air?

so school giving me macbook air 11 year , have 17 inch 2.53 i5 mid 2010 macbook pro. wondering if should sell , buy 27 inch imac year, , have macbook air. type alot of papers, video editing, light photo editing, alot of web , game playing. suggestions , experiences?
 

if school giving air free, surely sell pro if decent price attained it. imac great addition, , ssd air convenient. totally go air/imac combo.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
