Upgrading question

so, i've bought ibook g4 "late 2005" version. has 10.4.11 installed on it, , want upgrade 10.5.

when perform upgrade, wipe off of machine? it's coming office '08 , don't want lose it.
 

you shouldn't loose upgrade. clone hdd first using carbon copy cloner first, in case goes wrong.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
