MBA HDD is broken: What can I do?

the harddrive of late-2008 mba broken (again). time out of warranty, since 2.5 yrs old.
thinking of next steps do: 1 possibility give apple store , pay replacement drive. know how expensive be? have stock 120gb drive inside.
or buy third party drive. browsed through forum , many people praising runcore ssd's. honest, dont want spend money outdated laptop. if there cheap third party hdd's buy 1 of these. unfortunately not find myself, since special connector not wide spread.
last possibility think of put broken on ebay.
 

might not bad option if want upgrade new... wait few days , 2011s should out too. @ point can nice bargain on refurbished 2010, or buy new ones.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
