MBP Very Slooow! *I DID Search!*

hey,

have 15 inch mbp mid 2009. have 8gb of ram owc , ssd owc 256gb. within past week or computer has become slower. can imagine used lightning fast. turn on in 10 seconds , takes maybe 17.

also, seems run hotter.

when have apps open spinning wheel randomly or when doing things much more , longer period , computer semi freezes while ball spinning.

copying documents / pictures / files etc. desktop used take 1/2 second, , takes upwards of 15 seconds.

computer freeze , have hold down power button restart. once restarted show apple on boot on grey screen , nothing else. push power button , computer instantly shuts off. turn on , shows grey screen apple, , maybe once or twice flashes circle line through it. have tried holding option on start select mac hd boot won't show up.

if let computer sit maybe hour or , try , turn on turn on normal, still in slower state.

things have done , tried far:

changed computer run processor @ full speed instead of power saving in system preferences.

ran verify permissions , repair permissions.

verified hd using disk utility.

out of 256gb have ~ 90gb free.

else can try / do? perhaps can take screen shots / upload logs of errors see make computer fast again. appreciate it!

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
