Basic NAS enclosure?

i want make nas solution , thinking of getting 1 use backup 2 computers in house (imac , macbook) , use store , stream music , videos.

thinking of buying nas enclosure , putting 2 hard drives in there , connecting wireless router.

simple? enclosure best this? i've seen ones processors , operating systems etc, these seem above needs. best situation?

 

a nas has processors , os's because that's how connect network. more simple usb drive costs less because connects computer has own ip , os, , usb drive mounts volume.

type of nas looking for? raid? jbod? remote access? web server? there's lot out there, depending on want do.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
