Help please! 15" Macbook Pro problem

hi,
macbook pro (late 2007 model) had been working fine until couple of weeks ago, , crashed. when try turn on, apple logo comes , wheel underneath spins if loading freezes, have left ages , nothing happens.

thought maybe installation corrupted, tried boot snow leopard install disc when seems loading comes screen http://imageshack.us/photo/my-images/241/imagenog.jpg/sr=1

if can me identify/fix problem appreciated :)

try resetting pram doing p-r-command-option on boot.

if don't solve it... try doing smc reset (search google).

also... if don't work... try taking out ram , resetting it.

tell how go

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
