macbook air optical disk sharing?

hey guys/girls got macbook air 13in , wondering how set remote disc feature? dad has 21.5 in imac , reason not let me share optical drive, has lion i. glitch or missing something?
 

on computer, go system preferences , sharing. make sure disk sharing checked , should go once go remote disk on mba in finder.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
