Is it possible to develop my own "Expose/Spaces"

i right little software programs analyze , organize research data. tried lion on backup computer , think there lot of great new apis developers take advantage of.

however, mission control really, sucks @ displaying content if have more 2 windows of same application. worse vista's flip-view thing.

questions are:
how hard develop own little expose/spaces application? maybe mimicked 10.6 expose, had pretty simple grid layout.

how deep osx need in order control , move around other applications , windows?

of able point me toward correct developer's guides?
 

if write such program, buy instantly. else i'm not going upgrade lion. mission control not bad idea, replacement of spaces , expose, sucks!

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
