Is there any monitor that is comparable to the 27" Cinema Display?

i'm in market new monitor mac mini (mid-2010). i've been aspiring buy cinema display, it's damn expensive! after looking around on net months, there seems nothing better out there!

favorite features cinema display seem won't in other-monitors...

here favorite features:

-sexy aluminum enclosure , glossy display
-2560x1440 resolution (other brand's 27" 1080p)
-mini displayport connector (for 2560x1440 resolution)
-adjustable stand
-viewing angles great

is cinema display really worth it's pricetag?
there another-branded monitor these things less $$?

edit: know there tv route, using monitor, don't want tv.

please me out in making purchase!

there no other monitors use mini-displayport, if main criteria, acd choice.

far other 27" ips displays, there few, 1 in acd's price range dell u2711, bit more expensive. other panel itself, dell pretty opposite of acd, tons of inputs, matte instead of glossy, no webcam/speakers, height adjustable , horizontal pivot instead of tilt. , it's made out of plastic instead of aluminum...

depends on want though, far price, acd on low side compared other similar monitors.
