OS X Installation Help.

i have mbp 13 m2010 model. replaced harddrive , when went reinstall osx off of restore cd failed due huge scratch on disc.

purchased 10.6 store $30 , went install says "computer must restarted" on , on when try run disc. got hands on 10.6.3 , 10.6.7 files , when try load them no symbol. do? stuck running windows on machine? ugh..
 

are using disk utility (on installer) erase original partition?

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
