Fusion -WIN7 - High Fan (non-stop)

first time user of new macbook air i7. installed fusion , when running windows7 fan kicks high , stays there. expected? if so, can't live that, macbook air have go , i'll have consider different. i've allocated 1gb of ram it.

your fans on when mac on, spinning @ minimum of 1800 rpm. spin faster needed keep temps @ safe level. if they're spinning without increased heat, try resetting smc. istat pro give accurate readings of temps, among other things. also, make sure don't block vents, located @ rear, near hinge.

websites flash content, games , other multimedia apps put higher demand on cpu/gpu, generating more heat. normal. if you're putting high demands on system, such gaming or other multimedia tasks, expect temps rise , fans spin accordingly. it's mac doing job maintain temps within normal range.
