Lion on iMac 5,1 Late 2006 20inch

hi fellow lions , lionesses,

wanted report experience of installing lion on 'older' white imac. specs follows:

have done fresh install downloading lion , burning .dmg file dvd. install time not bad, not keeping track of time, felt around hour inserting dvd , booting off it, setup completing , arriving @ login screen. may have been bit shorter or longer though, doing other things during install.

freshly installed, lion felt snappier snow leopard right off. roaring start, 1 might say!

proceeded install used applications:
office 2011
photoshop cs3
dreamweaver cs3
firefox
skype
virtualbox running vm of windows xp x64
eset cybersecurity

i'm pleased report have not encountered issues above software far, runs smoothly , expect. note however, possible, latest version of each app obtained prior installing, , in case of office 2011 immediate update sp1 carried out. speed of lion feels new machine again.

overall i'm extremely happy lion, new , features. done apple. if concerned installing lion on older machine, i'd go it. :)

what surprised me of lion recognizes 4 gb of ram in imac, while declared these core 2 duo machines can address 3 gb, i've put 3 gb mine long ago. sadly, imac hangs time due faulty video subsystem, , having lion installed (while connected in target mode mac), doesn't allow run well.
