Moving desktops

why oh why can not reorder desktops? unless i'm missing blatantly obviously? if want desktop youtube, general internet browsing in middle, , vnc on next one. instead of reordering them have make them regular windows (not full screen) drag window right space. seems strange no?
 

i hate this; seems logical , intuitive should able re-order , pin desktops mission control window, but...nope.

process (take app out of full screen, move it, make full screen) ridiculous...

i'd organize desktops too, keep them in order makes sense me... (c'mon apple: 7.1???)

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
