GPS incorrect, compass GPS correct.. Confused.

hi!

i've made sailing app records lots of data. 1 thing records gps location. downloaded locate me apple website under 1 of recommended apps. i've got app 'beginning iphone development'. both apps , mine giving gps location incorrect. i've set accuracy best , 10 metres no difference in result. however, when go compass , @ gps location there, correct.

navigation app (tried using navigation accuracy too) , need gps location spot on. know how this? compass app apple provides perfect, know need do? i've based gps code on of locate me.

are taking 1 (the first) location location services? or register keep getting updates? location gets more accurate on time need keep getting updates.

meaningful should post of location code explanation.
