OS X Lion automatically opens finder

so i'm new posting here , new apple computers (this first one!). used snow leopard month , comfortable know i'm doing part. yesterday upgraded lion , far there 1 small thing annoying me. when go log in screen, log in, , go desktop upon initial startup, finder window automatically comes titled "macos" bunch of files showing. how can change window not keep opening every time start computer up. finder not open when shut down , choose option not reopen windows when logging in.

help.
 

go system preferences , users , groups. select user account , you'll see 2 tabs towards top on left, "password" , "login items". see login items selected. might have it. i've never seen finder login item in window. start.
