Why Wont The iPad Support a Mouse?

im proud owner of ipad 1 , ipad 2 , while more enough me justify using on daily basis still have use real netbook or notebook daily real work.

lead me scratch head, ipad accept bluetooth keyboard why can't support bluetooth mouse well?

think second. if ipad support both of these kill laptop market sure.

apple need allow controls built os , sdk allow people use them.

flip ipad on over side open word, excel , real work on it. flip , play games , or movies.

couldn't hard feature add, why haven't they? reason see think kill of macbook , air product lines?

for 1 thing, ui doesn't have cursor. has "entry point" (not sure of correct terminology), say, when have selected text field edit. no concept of generalized cursor pointer.

dunno how embedded in software. might take quite effort put in.

ui designed strictly touch in mind, better or worse.

assume keep things simple , not confuse users.

guess have cursor appear when mouse connected, whatever reason apple has chosen not implement this. think important them break mouse/cursor paradigm in order users embrace touch.
