2011 MBP Dynamic GPU Issue? :(

hi,

purchased high-end 2011 15" mbp along acd. since last week have noticed couple of issues. issues began last week, when pushed through update parallel 6. noticed when access bootcamp 64 windows, no longer able highest resolution (even when hooked on acd). when looked @ drivers in use, looked recognized intel gpu. week, when unhook mbp acd, computer on, wasn't able laptop monitor turn on though rest of computer still on. had hard reboot monitor on. suspected dynamic gpu, when pinpointed the gfx status program use either intel or ati gpu, got pinwheels , forced hard reboot again.

else experiencing this? or know might causing issue?
thinking bringing apple store (i have apple care) have them @ it, wanted thoughts issue be. parallel 6 update? or hardware issue?

 

i'd recommend uninstalling parallels first troubleshoot whether issue lies software or if indeed hardware issue. if uninstalling parallels doesn't work, take genius bar @ apple store or contact authorized service provider take @ it.
