SMB/CIFS share - how?

since apple apparently has dropped classical "samba" in lion - shares not longer seem work on popcorn hour.

have activated "smb" in "sharing" tab popcorn hour still can't connect mac in sl.

guess there's kind of auth error between two, have tried different kinds of setup figure out nothing seem work :(

have slightest idea on how working? :)
 

it appears there plenty of smb issues lion. lost ability browse shares on buffalo terastation, worked beautifully under snow leopard. bad lion. bad, bad kitty.

info on smb solutions enormously appreciated.

CoD on Mac is Stuck in fail windowed mode.
