Applescript

i started learning applescript programming. need write applescript program enable drop-down of menu , clicking 1 of item in drop-down.

example, need click dhtml menu in home. (applescript let home auto drop-down , auto click on dhtml)

please guide me on how should write program , if possible give me sample applescript coding able reference to.

 

if looking way applescript interact web page, can't done (in practical sense). applescript magic sending appleevents between applications. can control safari telling open new tab, address load, make pdf of page, etc. can't interact javascript on page.

now, don't give easily. if bound , determined work have applescript tell safari load page, tell safari give me page source , parse through looking event happens when click item. may cause page load, tell safari load me. etc.

it's long way around , isn't suited applescript's strengths, done.
