Quicktime slooowww to export

has noticed 'save as' option in qt has been replaced 'export' , takes daaaayyyys export? in sl, saving .avi .mov took mere seconds, takes upwards of 12 minutes. missing something? shouldnt take long.

also, .movs require qt7.

these bugs? or did apple change these features in new qt?
 

i noticed myself. liked previous ability "save as" quick , kept same video quality. new quicktime x keep same video quality old?

there anyway run snow leopard quicktime x on lion? tried dragging snow leopard , gave error message.
