iTunes starts up by itself?

i had updated itunes last update , ever sense damn thing has been starting self, i've looked in preferences , settings thought, , can not find thing turn off. have idea why happening , can turn off starting up?
help

go system preferences->accounts->login items , select itunes helper not boot when starting up. see if works.
