Remote access/networking problems after 10.7

i'm taking office on mac. got couple of machines there time capsule, had them set talk each other in 10.6 using mobile me login , had trusty laptop able wire in house. in process of going paperless, able access scanned images of files house or anywhere decent internet connection. , good.

upgraded 1 or 2 of machines 10.7. these machines talk other macs if they're on same network. office machines no longer give time of day machines @ house.

please tell me i've overlooked simple , can remedy downgrade in capabilities.

if not, i've got '09 sp mac pro @ office. using file server 10.6. office manager/book keeper using 1 drive thing, drive contains forms , images backed using time machine.

able stick 10.7 server on machine , remedy situation, , manager still able use programs on mp while it's running 10.7 server?

please tell me it's first option. pretty please.

starting wish had stayed 10.6. wanna smack reviewers reported lion had better networking capabilities on client version!

 

followup...inexplicably, problem seems have resolved itself. dunno, maybe needed reboot or two. anyway, it's now.
