SSD for 2009 MacBook 13"


(the earlier alu one, before called them pro's).

spec - c2d 2.06ghz, 4gb ram, 160gb 5400rpm hdd, 9400m gt

anyway, gf picked macbook air , i'm amazed speed of ssd in particular... has me tempted buy 1 macbook. few q's...

1. notice huge speed jump? appreciate mbp isn't optimised in same way...
2. worth money?
3. i've researched bit installing them, looks quite straightforward, how go cloning new ssd?
3. worth buying crucial m4 w/ transfer kit? tempted because it's £15 more cable/disc.

1. in tasks, yes. tasks include disk access sped up.

2. yes, others no. depends on usage , capacity need.

3. 2.5" enclosure, put ssd in , use e.g. ccc clone.
