Firefox closes tabs -resume doesn't work

the osx lion resume function doesn't work me in firefox. i'm pretty sure working before tonight, option warn when closing multiple tabs checked, if quit firefox , reopen, opens home page. i'm not sure happened.

think i'm going safari convert. firefox has no gesture support , doesn't resume multiple tabs or last page on. yes, know can click on history>restore previous session, unnecessary task in osx lion.

else having problem? fixes?
 

i haven't used firefox on mac in while (i prefer safari) think apps have support resume feature in lion. right?
perhaps there's preference in firefox automatically restore previous sessions?
