Help with an old emac comp.

hi, have problem trying figure out. given old emac computer os 10.4 tiger believe is, took of day , got mac hooked internet through windows laptop. got setup can access files on emac laptop. trying update able use firefox, app on emac not connect net reason.

everytime go update software gets little ways , stops times out. there anyway update manually? , can update to? thank you help!

you can go apple webpage , download updates. if os x 10.4 flat can update 10.4.11 http://www.apple.com/support/tiger/ http://support.apple.com/downloads/mac_os_x_10_4_11_combo_update__ppc_
