RAM MHz question...

i upgraded mid 2009 mbp today 8 gb ram. used lexar (since that's best buy had locally in stock in 4 gb modules) read lead me believe mbp required 1066 mhz ram. lexar ram had both 1066 mhz , 1333 mhz written on package. asked sure.... , assured automatically run @ required 1066 mhz in mbp.

well... take @ attached pic! system information says it's running @ 1333 mhz!??? bad?? happen overheating damage system? seems working fine... issue had @ had reset smc after upgrade because had sleep / wake issue (wouldn't wake after opening lid) since smc reset it's been fine.

worried 1333 mhz....

apple puts slower ram in macs. keep costs down. not make noticeable difference in terms of speed. not harm macbook pro in way if speed bit faster apple's ram speed.
