My luck. Brand New MBP with Intel 510 and question mark folder..

i've had mac 4 days...i got ssd today , went install. took out old hdd put in ssd booted osx cd , went fine. turned off install 8gb ram , folder question mark comes next boot..even when hold alt , boot ssd doesn't work. ideas?
 

try reinstall, if doesn't work, rma drive.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
