Replacement HD for MBP

i have mid-2009 13" mbp need replace hd in, since mine died. hard drive out there recommend? want in new hd is:

1. quality , longevity - want hd going last me unitl whole comp in few years

2. performance - want fast hd allow me put heavy load on machine , not cook it. know of relies on processor , ram , such, want hd give optimum performance.

3. price - don't know kind of price i'm looking at, if can keep around $100, that'd awesome i'm poor college student.

don't need biggest hd, mine 160gb, if can little bigger without spending of tuition money i'd because photography takes lot of room.

also, how 5400 , 7200 rpm hd's perform differently? higher rpm hd worth money things using (basic storage, school projects, photo processing , photoshop, , other basic video , audio processing)?

for under $100 i'm pretty sure can hard drive on market... when going upgrade, looking @ segate momentus xt , western digital scorpio black. think 7200 worth money considering have buy new hard drive (but wouldn't upgrade existing hardware).

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
