Screen problem. Help!

okay, opened macbook today , when turned on, upper righthand corner black , there's light blue translucent streak down right side. can still click on things in corner , everything, can't see them. tried take screenshot , post it, screenshot doesn't show it, leads me believe it's not internal problem, issue screen itself.

off when grabbed earlier, , when opened it, hit small end of power cord (not block end, end plugs computer), may or may not have caused this. anyway, there nothing can fix it? or cheaper buy new computer replace broken piece? don't know quite do, or if there's way fix it, i'd little insight.

it's never cheaper buy entirely new computer replace screen. please take picture of issue, , include enough of macbook in picture can see model is.
