How to delete "other" user account

earlier today macbook air kind of froze , called apple help. had me make new account called root system administrator or something. after having reinstall lion in end, instead of having option log in account use, has option of account , account called "other" click on type in name , password. don't want 2 options, want mine. went system preferences , users , tried delete it, won't let me click on it. logged "root" 1 , went it, clicked on it, wouldn't let me click - button delete it.

know how rid of account?
