Question about listening to music through iCloud

so, when icloud service active.. i'll able access song 120gb itunes collection anywhere, correct? have pay annual fee itunes match? matter if tracks ripped cd, or downloaded internet? also, songs download cloud onto device, or streamed apple's servers? help. i've had no luck trying find clear answer this.
 

theyll download device, not stream. if you've purchased music itunes store before, can test download feature in itunes 10.3 , iphone/ipad running 4.3 or higher.

itunes match supposed what's in library that's available in itunes store, wouldnt expect literally every song in library make cloud.

don't think matters if ripped or acquired apple hasn't said much.
