Weird situation MBA 11" vs MBP 15"
hi,
planning wait air refresh buy myself macbook air 11" ultimate. use device secondary machine next imac. air used pages, pdf's, browsing, , other college related stuff. heavy work still reserved imac. main selling point me extreme portability of device.
"problem" grandparents bought me macbook pro 15" (big) present birthday , told me àfter found out going mba. embarressing moment, either of us.. has been less 2 weeks ago can still returned , mba instead. @ first not such thing, because it's present , it's extremely rude sell or return it. talked , persuaded me think it.
it's mbp 15" 2,2ghz i7 qcore, 4g ram, 750hdd, amd 6750 1g ddr5.. (actually standard second option 15")
if keep it, overpower imac (besides larger screen) 2009 model c2d 2,93 ghz, 4g ram, ati 4850 512mb. fear won't using much, , rather sell buy screen. fear won't carrying around as if had mba. believe it's far less portable (although has better battery life..).
question is:
- should return mbp 15" mba 11"? leaves me imac 09 heavy work , light mba taking notes, carrying around, travelling, etc. ?
- should keep mbp 15" , sell imac buy screen?
strange situation haven't thought 15" before because it's waaay expensive me.
thoughts?
p.s. sorry language, english not mothertongue.
it sounds cultural thing more else, i'd keep in mind.
logistics kind of awkward well, if return mbp, since apple store credit grandparents' credit card or bank account, , not see of it. yes, grandparents *could* accompany , select mba 11", if that's option. (now, don't know you, i'd think it'll rude if asked them give rest in cash or whatever. so, in scenario, you'd gain mba want , save grandparents ton of cash.)
if keep mbp, should plan on keeping , selling imac, since it's not small gift standards.
recommendation: don't let money part of best of you. don't want use chance milk grandparents money possible. need, save grandparents money today. then, i'm sure happy show love in other ways in future.
