Lost some gesture functionality

hi all

when i'm using mac browse internet tend rest left index finger on lower left hand side of trackpad click links etc. still works fine if i'm using 1 finger move mouse cursor around, can no longer scroll using 2 fingers , down if have left index finger resting on trackpad since upgrading lion. have re-added 3 finger swipe go backwards , forwards using better touch tool, there anyway of regaining scrolling functionality used in snow leopard?

CoD on Mac is Stuck in fail windowed mode.
