Apple Releases Thunderbolt Firmware Update

apple today released thunderbolt firmware update, small update offering "performance , stability fixes" machines supporting new high-speed data connectivity standard.
there no indication of update beyond general note regarding "fixes". unclear apple's description machines update applies to, apple not specify on download page whether applies company's latest macbook pros or imacs or both, although update page displays image of macbook pro. consequently, users of thunderbolt-enabled machines should check software update see if update available machines.

thunderbolt firmware update weighs in @ 486 kb , requires mac os x 10.6.8, released late last week.
