Fast user switch on inactivity?

trying think of way this, it's important note, logging out not option. has swap out login screen on timeout...

know can lock screen password, hit change user button, i'm looking avoid 1 click , make easier arriving @ system, without user training.

ideas? did try search - , know there's $50 piece of software can configured this, way expensive such mundane thing this, , frankly, it's not $50's of important :)

appreciated.
 

can system preferences > security > general > log out after xy minutes of inactivity help?
