no option to partition with bootcamp :/

hey there,
i'm wanting install windows on mac (more needing wanting sadly). when got boot camp assistance first thing required 'download windows support software'. assume dont have after checking first option of 'download windows support software mac' takes forever load nothing happens except: "download not continue. window support software not available".

after checking second option have mac installations disks windows xp next page refers partitioning mac.. i've been wanting except upon clicking 'create or remove windows partition' option there no option partition windows :/ says "mac os x 248gb"

after reading installation guide boot camp mac realise i'm suppose have option @ right has 'windows'....
except don't , i'm not sure why is.

being clueless , stupid regarding computers (hence asking help) put windows xp disk in , started installation option anyways see if same windows came in boot camp installation guide. i'm not 100% of partition thing cancelled without going past accepting terms , conditions windows (after getting cd stuck xp start kept booting upon restart - 'click mouse eject option' saved me)

anyways,
if can me partition great bootcamp work , i've never messed around in past got mac last oct , use few windows programs.

it sounds boot camp assistant thinks have partitioned drive. see "go back" , "restore" button on screen finder icon?
