here's story, had 32gb ipod , loved thing missed internet everywhere, friend gave me iphone 3gs, jailbroke , unlocked tmobile prepaid data on

bottom line bought prepaid webconnect sim 1gb refill card, put sim in iphone , works, says tmobile carrier, haven't set have put in sim , have edge!?!? it's slow load anything!!!! going put refill card in , it's says have have tmobile account , makes put in tmobile number temporary password, don't have tmobile phone, do!!!!! , again bought prepaid webconnect sim kit
 

with tmobile usa edge data using iphone.
no iphone model supports 3g bands you're stuck edge if you're using tmobile.
