Amazon 'Kindle' Ad Reminiscent of Mac vs PC

there's new ad kindle out there pits woman big purse/handbag against 'cool' guy kindle. it's white background , it's 2 of them. whole layout , approach strikingly similar mac vs pc ads finished couple years ago. how shameless amazon? first appstore , same ad approach. it's ridiculous. i'm not opposed amazon succeeding in business, , believe kindle better reading books ipad, it's bit disheartening seeing these kinds of cheap shots.
