Base 2011 11inch air struggles to run 27 inch ACD

sorry make 2010 air not 2011

wow. poor little thing has hard time pushing large screen.

have handful of windows open several google chrome browsers, email , few spreadsheets on google docs. lion.

works ok, jittery , has hard time going between spaces , apps. run in clamshell....if try have run both screens bad.

way is?

running large display processor thing or gpu or combo of both?

guess on if new 11 inch air 4gigs , base processor better?
