Dilema, dead 3Gs

3gs died on me. battery giving out @ 40-50%. bought replacement. installed , phone wont take charge. put original battery in , same thing. must have done when took phone apart.

anyway, if has suggestions how fix appreciated, otherwise, when think iphone 4's drop in price? don't know if can make 3 more months 5 or 4s come out pick 4, if lower price in month might suffer through
 

when mean drop in price, mean new contract or contract free?

if new contract, $99 if buy refurb at&t's website (if eligible upgrade). out of contract, price went (by $50) $650.

original question, have no idea how fix dead iphone.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
