Updated MBA for Garageband

hi -

sure annoyed people here ask questions of smart people using forums, i'm going 1 more.

getting new mac notebook summer. work, need internet office, , basic ilife applications. instance, if going photo editing or video editing, in iphoto or imovie, not aperture or final cut, minimal. it's email , office.

sophisticated garageband user. @ times, have 20 - 25 tracks effects going @ same time, effects well. software instruments through piano, there times record real guitar tracks , vocal tracks well.

on 2007 mbp right 3gb of ram. garageband maxes thing out point can't play tracks , stops itself.

updated mba, ok? either maxed out 13 mba or 15 mbp. portability since travel lot , walk work every day , if work, prefer mba.

the current mba13" has more or less speed of 2007 mbp , faster in tasks profit speed ssd provides.

while not being garageband user myself, i'm quite sure profits cpu speed , ram, , not speed of hard disk drive. new sandy bridge based cpus we're expecting find in next mba revision faster cpus used in mba - around speed of 2009 mbp.

in case can wait few more weeks or months (the new mba availably between late june , late september), i'd suggest wait purchase. otherwise, go 15"mbp.
