how to hide user name in lion?

i want ride of user name in top right corner. dont need know am. 1 know how off top bar?
 

system preferences > user & groups > login options (lower left corner) > uncheck show fast user switching menu

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
