iPhone 4 bricked?

i have iphone 4 on 4.3.4. had tethered jailbreak using redsn0w. had wifi problems selected option "reset network settings" or that. iphone won't go past apple logo. getting dfu mode has not worked. know how dfu mode, , not problem. turn phone off, hold home , power button, 5 seconds that, phone turns off. not allow me hold 10 seconds. there way me restore phone factory, or way @ me connect , identified itunes without powering on ?
 

have looked @ youtube videos, make sure right? or can recovery mode.
