"Swapping" the function of a key
i working on designing keynote presentation boss. has been impressed features of keynote, has never had familiar design presentations.
spent time creating presentation absolutely loves. however, when rehearsed presentation remote, whenever tried go through animation, found took him beginning of slide, not previous animation. says if cannot figure out way change this, not able use keynote presentation.
after doing bit of research, found using "[" key take 1 step, instead of taking beginning of slide.
now, have problem of trying figure out way "swap" function of key "left arrow" key act "[" key.
know of way might able that? way have designed in keynote, not same if exported powerpoint.
in advance help!

i don't use keynote remember reading somewhere if caps lock on, acts if shift button being pressed , changes functionality of of keys. chance turned on? may not issue in case figured mention it.
