Woke up to iPhone 4 in DFU mode, unable to recover

i go check emails ect find out phone isn't turned on. try turn on, it's not doing anything, not low message screen when needs charge. start becoming confused. plug wall outlet , doesn't anything. plug computer , recognized once, first time. says in dfu mode, install itunes (uninstalled reason) , click restore. since said have option restore contacts , other settings gave go. downloaded 4.3.3 , attempted install. gave me error message. "not enough space on disk" or whatever. since had ~1gb of space left on boot drive (apparently apple cannot have option move firmware downloads drive) , had 20mb, figured main drive. delete files can make space firmware , itunes , attempt again, while phone plugged in. time had ~500mb space left after firmware downloaded. continued repeat process same error message.

tl;dr wake find iphone 4 in dfu mode, unable restore error message "not enough space on disk" when there is.

note had dropped phone in toilet month ago, shouldn't affecting now.

why not, corrosion can take awhile.
