How do I hook up my Audioengine A5's to iMac for best sound? Also, DAC?

i bought imac, , audioengine a5's.


1) these high quality speakers. $150 external dac make big difference in sound quality compared imac's onboard? guys please recommend me nice dac $150 or less?


2) how hook these imac > dac best possible sound quality? have no clue.....

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
