Seal threatens commentators over the Fuji X100

note: should retitled to: how show irrational bias.

there review on steve huff's website written guest writer regarding x100.

it's terribly written review no standards of journalism applied it, it's abject lesson in showing one's bias. steve huff distances himself saying in 1 of reviews many disclaimers , warnings.

said review: http://www.stevehuffphoto.com/2011/...native-view-of-the-fuji-x100-by-david-babsky/

however, icing on cake comments. of course lot of them incendiary/critical towards reviewer, seal, leica's ambassador chips in, gushing on review, , ensues x1 vs x100 debate.

critical turning point when seal declares image quality of x1 in league above x100 while seemingly ignoring reviews , tests done between 2 cameras declaring x100 overall better camera.

seal emphases ignorance stating eyes see better quality images x1.

when commentators ask him how possible , why ignoring general consensus x100 better camera, 1 commentator calls view pretentious. 'pretentious' mind you, it's not worse thing call somebody.

instead of replying thoughtful critique , bringing people onto side explaining why x1 better, seal threatens person instead stating on dangerous ground , doesn't suffer fools , sidesteps whole debate straw-man argument because character has been insulted , needs defend instead.

seal posts user '^6' way.

read on lazy saturday @ least.

yeah, enjoy read of site once in while too. have read elsewhere on seal (~6) has both x1 , x100 , has praised x100 in past. if preference 1 on other, opinion empirical experience , i'd fair enough- @ least wouldn't challenge on consensus of reviews!

(incidentally, both interesting cameras- although occupying 'between' sort of space- not sure if in position wouldn't hold out m9-p push used m9 price down- cost of used m8 x100 mrrp in uk:))
