'Slowdown' - Smart Notebook 10.7 (teacher's software) - help?

my girlfriend teacher , has macbook air (oct 2010+) 1.86ghz c2d, 2gb ram.

has had issues when running smart notebook (smartboard software), struggles load things , moving images etc around screen can slow, if it's more graphical or flash related.

other this, laptop runs absolutely fine doing everything, it's not hardware fault.

reference, smart notebook recommended requirements 1.5ghz processor , 1gb of ram; , seems run ok on old school computer has old amd t64x2 , 1gb ram (xp).

have idea may be?

if it's software issue can given priority? e.g. on windows can set applications higher priority or run in admin etc.

not used solving problems on mac i'm pretty clueless!
 

the current version of adobe flash player apple mac os x versions 10.5.x , 10.6.x should work on computer. having version of flash player incompatible installed mac os x may causing issue smart notebook version 10.7.
