Alternative to Mariner Software's Paperless Product?

i've used mariner software's paperless 1.3.0 product around 1.5 years. recently, released version 2.0.4 upgrade before os x lion came out. clicked, "upgrade" when saw had new version come out because liked 1.3.0 release. however, began think myself, "wait minute. use software daily. if download version 2.0.x , unhappy it?" so, held off. work in day long , last thing want screw around fixing computers when off work (it's why changed os x platform being :) ).

upgraded computer os x lion , wasn't surprised see 1.3.0 version of paperless had issues it. so, decided try trial version of 2.0.4 paperless. discovered did in fact have multiple unresolved issues. read on web site paperless 1.3.0 not compatible lion. so, week, mariner software released paperless 2.1. appeared fix problems had been having , did fix crashes. didn't fix of issues , 1 issue in particular keeps product being practically functional.

so, how it? can direct me easy use substitute paperless?
