iTunes Library Consolidation and Playlists Questions?

i running itunes 9.02 on imac. songs located in 2 different folder locations on hard drive. 2/3 of songs , new imported songs go itunes music folder. but, 1/3 songs located in older folder on hard drive, under different path. itunes recognizes these tunes in other location under different path using info, , many playlists created recognize other folder/path location.

if consolidate 1/3 of library location 2/3 lives , new songs go, itunes automatically update library , playlists?

seems @ point in past must have consolidated because many of songs in both places, itunes windows showing file in old location , when select individual song within playlist, list song in older location.

wondering best way songs 1 location , have songs recognized accordingly , playlists work correctly.

What's the max amount of RAM an iMac can have to run BootCamp & Parallels Windows 7?
